TITLE: Maintenance/Custodian MAIN FUNCTION: To provide general maintenance Day Habilitaion and Residential facilities to include minor repairs routine and preventative maintenance, monitoring of required inspections, grounds keeping duties and janitorial maintenance as needed. QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma with six months experience. Must be able to lift a minimum of 30 pounds and have a valid NYS Driver License with an acceptable driving record as determined by the Agency. Position is for 40 hours per week plus full-time benefits.

TITLE: Community Services Specialist MAIN FUNCTION: To provide service coordination to Individuals with Developmental Disabilities. To develop Individualized Services Plans that reflect the persons' services, supports, and outcomes. To link, refer, and monitor services to ensure persons' satisfaction. To work in conjunction with various providers to include vocational, employer, Day Habilitation, Residential and school collateral. To ensure and maintain documentation that is within the regulatory guidelines of Medicaid and OMRDD. To provide linkage and follow up to health care providers, social service agencies, community resources and legal advocacy. QUALIFICATIONS: Must be well organized, flexible and have good communication skills. Will be responsible for rotating pager coverage. Bachelor's Degree in related field with at least one (1) year experience in service coordination or one (1) year experience with Developmental Disability population. Must possess a valid NYS Driver License with an acceptable driving record as determined by the Agency. Position is for 40 hours per week plus full-time benefits.

TITLE: Substitute Recycling Handler MAIN FUNCTION: Picks ups recyclables on city routes, and is able to distinguish between recyclable and non-recyclable items and tag any items left at the curb. QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. Must be physically fit and be able to lift a minimum of 60 pounds.Special Note: This contract is through New York State Industries for the Disabled (NYSID). NYSID is designed to provide Individuals with Developmental Disabilities with employment opportunities. Under this contract, a majority of worked hours must be done by Individuals with Developmental Disabilities and preference will be given to qualified applicants with Disabilities.
