Family Support Program

The Family Support Program provides a variety of specialization and recreation activities for Individuals with Developmental Disabilities. Popular activities include dinner outings, bowling, horticulture, landscaping, exercise and participation in Special Olympics. There is also a Saturday Respite Program that benefits families and Program Participants alike.

Family Support operates a Family Reimbursement Program. This program helps provide needed goods and services to Individuals living with their families. A transportation program, called Driving Force, offers much needed transportation to out of town medical appointments and respite opportunities.

Additional Family Support Services include mental health counseling for both Individuals and groups, advocacy for Individuals and their families which includes linkage and referral to much needed services like guardianship, financial and life planning services. All of our Family Support Services are part of grant programs partially funded by the Western New York Developmental Disabilities Services Office.
