The Genesee ARC Mary Anne Graney Memorial Scholarship is an annual scholarship opportunity for area high school seniors interested in a career working with individuals with disabilities. The scholarship is named in honor of Mary Anne Graney, a long time friend of Genesee ARC and disability advocate.
Residents of Genesee County that are high school students in their senior year can apply. Children of Genesee ARC employees are also eligible to apply. Past recipients attended Pavilion, Elba, Oakfield–Alabama, Churchville and Batavia high schools.
Genesee ARC recognizes the importance of education for our local students and supports annually through the scholarship, students interested in a career in special education or a human services related field.
The Genesee ARC Mary Anne Graney Memorial scholarship is a living memorial, honoring Mary Anne’s commitment to enriching the lives of people with disabilities.
