Annual Meeting & Awards Ceremony - A Celebration of Success!
Each year Genesee ARC salutes local businesses, volunteers and community leaders who have made a positive impact on our organization and helped further our mission. Awards presented include Spirit of ARC, Volunteer of the Year, Contractor of the Year and Friends of ARC. We also salute the people we serve and staff for exemplary service and longevity.

Our next Annual Meeting & Awards Ceremony is scheduled for May 17, 2013. 

Genesee ARC Golf, Tennis & Bocce Tournament
This event is our largest annual fundraiser supporting programs and services for those with a disability. A variety of sponsorship opportunities are available.

Held each year at the majestic Stafford Country Club, our 2013 Tournament is scheduled for July 15.  Features include premiere prizes, gift bags, a silent auction, door prizes, greenie contests on the course, lunch, hors d’oeuvres and a steak dinner. It’s a great day of fun!

Genesee ARC Friends & Family 5K
This event, held annually in September, raises money for disability services and helps fund the Genesee ARC Mary Anne Graney Memorial Scholarship. Mrs. Graney was a dedicated parent, a long-time supporter of Genesee ARC, and a strong advocate for persons with developmental disabilities.

The Friends & Family event is made up of a 5K certified course, 5K Walk and a Fun Walk, with the route beginning near and ending at the Genesee ARC Day Habilitation Center, 4603 Barrville Road, Elba. Save the date!  Our 9th annual Friends & Family 5K is scheduled for September 21, 2013.

Genesee ARC Bowl-A-Thon
Youth League bowlers in Genesee County and ARC  bowlers have helped raised more than $337,000.00 in our Annual Bowl-A-Thon over the last 38 years. Our success is also thanks to Scopano’s Paradise Lanes, LeRoy American Legion Lanes, Mancuso Bowling Center and the Bergen Rose Garden Lanes who welcome us each fall.
