The Intermediate Care Facility(ICF) is home to 12 Individuals with Developmental Disabilities, and is staffed 24 hours a day. Residents at the ICF receive a full range of services including training in daily living skills, socialization, and recreation. The Residents are also assisted with all medical areas.
Individual Residential Alternatives(IRAs)
Genesee County Chapter NYSARC, Inc. also has seven Individual Residential Alternatives(IRAs) located in Batavia and Oakfield, serving 32 people. The individuals in these residential settings receive 24 hour supervision as well as training in daily living skills, socialization, and recreation.
Supportive Apartment Program
The Supportive Apartment Program operates apartments in the City of Batavia for Individuals who require only minimal Staff assistance. Services offered in the apartment program include training in independent living skills and linkage to community related services and activities.
Family Care
Family Care provides community-based residential care in certified private homes. This program is ideal for People with Developmental Disabilities who want to live in a family setting. Family Care Residents receive training in daily living skills along with support and guidance from their Certified Family Care Provider.
Residential Habilitation
Residential Habilitation is a home-based service that assists Individuals in improving the skills necessary to live in the community (socialization, recreation, daily living skills, mobility training, etc...). Services may range from 1 hour/week to 24 hours/week. The philosophy of this service is to enable families care providers to support their family member at home.
