The goal of the Supported Work Program is to help Individuals With Developmental Disabilities find and maintain competitive employment in enclaves, mobile crews or in the community. Supported Work Staff assist with job exploration, development, and placement. Once an Individual is placed in Supported Work, Staff provide job coaching at the job site, and are available to provide ongoing assistance as needed.
Among the many Supported Work success stories are placements as restaurant employees, custodians, stock clerks, manufacturing, clerical and maintenance positions. Finding a job in the community is a goal for many Program Participants.
